What is an energy optimisation consultation?

In our 30-minute energy optimisation consultation we will go through your EPC with you and advise you on which of the recommendations are most pertinent to your property. We can also advise on alternative ways to improve your energy efficiency which may not have an impact on your EPC rating but can have an impact on your energy consumption.

Why should you book a 30-minute consultation?

EPCs use Reduced Data Standard Assessment Procedures (RdSAP) to calculate the energy performance of properties. The software makes assumptions about a number of things such as the occupancy of the house (the number of people who live there) and their energy consumption patterns (the amount of gas and electricity the occupants will use). This may vary greatly from the actual occupancy of the house and how energy is used in the property. It doesn’t consider the condition of the property. Our 30 minute energy optimisation consultation will help you unpick the recommendations generated by the RdSAP inputs and offer suggestions about how this could be done in your property.

Please note, a condition report is not part of the EPC or 30 min consultation.
