The survey will take approximately 3 hours - a 2 hour assessment of the property followed by a consultation with the homeowners.

The assessment will include measuring up for a highly detailed plan, surveying the condition of the building, and establishing the energy efficiency of the property.

The report will contain an Energy Report or an EPC, a condition report, an occupancy report and a technical report containing options of the products and services that are appropriate for your property.

As an add-on to this report, we can design a solar panel and battery arrangement for you and assess your property to establish the suitability of an air source heat pump installation.

Your report will be tailored to you and your property’s needs. Some people are motivated to make their home more efficient whilst taking the most sustainable approach; some people need to take the most cost-effective option. We will take each clients’ motivations into consideration and generate a bespoke report outlining a selection of possible solutions for you based on the recommendations from the EPC and the constraints of the property.

This will help you to tender to contractors with a clear understanding of what you need so you can gain like-for-like quotes and aren’t oversold unnecessary products or services. You will be able to negotiate from a position of knowledge and be clear with builders, contractors, suppliers and installers about your intended outcomes for your project.

We always recommend that any energy efficiency measures being retrofitted on your property are carried out in line with PAS2035 guidelines and are installed by PAS2030 accredited tradespeople.
